On a scale from “Me no know nothing” to “I have invented the entire technological procedure of my branch”, how familiar are you with the new Industrial Revolution, namely, Industry 4.0? Well, that’s about to change thanks to the next Workshop organized by LC Madrid: Industry 4.On!

Industry… 4.0? Isn’t there only just THE Industrial Revolution?

There have been three industrial revolutions so far: the first one introduced mechanical machineries, the second one powered them with electricity and the third one automatized them. It is now, in our time, when a new industrial revolution is coming up. 

And what is that new revolution?

It is based on the cibernetic interconnection, that is, taking advantage of newly-discovered yet powerful tools such as Blockchain, nanotechnologies, IoT or 5G. It is quite a groundbreaking revolution since it is optimizing efficiency of industries up to the maximum level. It is also based on the new social changes, such as gender parity, equality and environmental sustainability.

Interesting… but why would I want to participate in this Workshop?

Participants will be able to learn tons of new concepts that will be used in the near future. Besides, we will have the presence of important companies, both Spanish and international ones, who are putting huge budgets into this new revolution.

Why would I want to visit LC Madrid?

LC Madrid is the oldest branch of the Latina Region (Region II) and it’s quite a popular place in EESTEC. Who hasn’t ever tasted that sweet nectar of the gods called “sangría”? Or what about having parties in the land of the Sun, where summer never leaves? And most importantly, do you know what perreo is? Are you ready to learn how to dance it? Then hesitate no more and apply for Industry 4.0!
